We provide care for short term illness like coughs and sore throats, ongoing care for diseases like diabetes and high blood pressure, and treatment for minor injuries.
We do not provide birth control or prenatal care, routine physicals, emergency care, or chronic pain treatment. However, we can refer you to the appropriate provider or facility for any medical problem.
To make an appointment in Salida, call 719.539.4144. To make an appointment in Buena Vista, call 719.395.3238. We will either answer directly, or we will call you back as soon as possible.

When you come for your first visit, please arrive 30 minutes before your appointment time to complete registration forms.

After hours care:
Our clinic is only open during specified times, and does not have 24 hour telephone answering service. If you become ill when the clinic is not open, and you feel you cannot wait until the next clinic day, call 911, or go to the nearest hospital Emergency Department. Non-emergency messages may be left anytime at 719.539.4144 or 719-395.3238, and your call will be returned the next clinic day.
For medication refills, an appointment must be made during regular hours.
Chaffee People’s Clinic reserves the right to refuse to provide services to patients who do not follow our patient guidelines.
