Eligibility and Affordability

Chaffee People’s Clinic (CPC) provides quality primary health care for adults who live or work in Chaffee County, have no health insurance, and meet our income guidelines.

Eligibility

Our limited but focused mission is to serve those Chaffee County residents most in need, who otherwise would lack access to healthcare. Please honor this mission by not attempting to use CPC if you are not eligible.

Eligibility Guidelines are as follows:

We serve children and adults of all ages

You must either live and/or work in Chaffee County.

You must not have any other health insurance coverage.  We cannot serve you if you have Medicaid, Medicare, or any employer-provided or private insurance.

You must have less than $25,000 in total liquid assets. (Liquid assets means the total of all money in checking accounts, saving accounts, investments, and any other money immediately available.)

Your monthly or yearly total household income must be less than the maximum listed in the following charts, based on your family size (‘Family Size’ is the number of individuals living in the same household. ‘Income’ includes wages before taxes, child support, income from any trust, social security, and/or disability income. ‘Household Income’ is the sum of the total income of all of the individuals in the household.)
